DAY 1: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
On the first day, you will meet your 1 Ra Adventure guide at your hotel at 7:30 am for your 1 Ra Adventure Safari briefing and you will receive your lunch boxes. Then you will head off to Tarangire, which is about a 2 hrs drive (120km). Tarangire is known for its savannah, baobab trees, Tarangire River, where many animals gather, and seasonal swamps, which are home to huge elephant herds. On your adventure, you would be able to see a selection of mammals ranging from giraffes, bushbucks, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and warthogs. Once these animals are found, it is likely that their predators (Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs) are not far behind. On your adventure, you will get to take in the amazing view of the landscape and watch the graceful animals from the comfort of the open rooftop of your safari vehicle. In the late afternoon, you will leave the Tarangire National Park and head to nearby lodging, where you will spend the rest of your night relaxing and enjoying your dinner at bougainvillea lodge.
DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Day Two, will start with a wonderful breakfast. After breakfast, you will collect your lunch boxes and then continue your adventure towards the fertile highland where the Iraqw people grow wheat, coffee, and corn. You will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will be able to see the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before traveling onwards to the Serengeti National Park, which you will reach by midday. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania, with various landscapes and habitats, such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains. Here the biggest wildebeest and zebra migration takes place and depending on the season, you will have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals searching for nourishment. You will camp the night in the Seronera area in central Serengeti at Heritage Luxury Lodging for your accommodation.
DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Day Three, Before leaving Serengeti, you will have an early morning game drive where you will have the opportunity to see the incredible Serengeti sunrise. You will continue your game drive till noon time where you will return to your hotel for lunch and then head towards the Ngorongoro conservation area. In the conservation area, you will enjoy beautiful scenery like the unique Maasai bomas, the wild animals, the wonderful forest, and the beautiful highlands. You will spend a night at the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
DAY 4: NGORONGORO CRATER - ARUSHA
Day Four, You will be provided with an early breakfast and thereafter you will tour the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater formed from a collapsed volcano. Inside the creator is one of the places you can see the black rhino which is an endangered species. Then you will enjoy a picnic at engoitoktok lake where you can see hippos in the clear waters. If you are interested in birds, when you pass by lake magadi you will have the opportunity to see many flamingos. Finally, you will enjoy a peaceful ride back to your hotel in Arusha.
