5 DAY LODGING SAFARI WITH AIRPORT
Day 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT - ARUSHA
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will meet our 1 Ra Adventure guides holding a signboard with your names on it. Your adventure will start along the way to Arusha, where you will gain your first impression of Africa; you will smell the natural scents, hear roosters crowing, and if the weather is clear, you can see the beautiful peak of Mount Kilimanjaro as well as Mount Meru. Once you arrive in Arusha, your guide will take you to Tulia lodge, where you will relax and enjoy a fantastic dinner.
Day 2: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - MTO WA MBU
On Day Two, you will meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 7:30 am after your delicious breakfast for your 1 Ra Adventure Safari briefing and receive your lunch boxes. Then you will head off to Tarangire, which is about a 2 hrs drive (120km). Tarangire is known for its savannah, baobab trees, Tarangire River, where many animals gather, and seasonal swamps, which are home to huge elephant herds. On your adventure, you would be able to see a selection of mammals ranging from giraffes, bushbucks, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and warthogs. Once these animals are found, it is likely that their predators (Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs) are not far behind. On your adventure, you will get to take in the amazing view of the landscape and watch the graceful animals from the comfort of the open rooftop of your safari vehicle. In the late afternoon, you will leave the Tarangire National Park and head to nearby lodging, where you will spend the rest of your night relaxing and enjoying your dinner at Fanaka lodge.
Day 3: MTO WA MBU - NGORONGORO CRATER - MTO WA MBU
On Day Three, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning while doing an in route adventure game drive. Once you enter, you will enjoy fascinating nature with tropical forest smell, bird chirping sounds, and clouds in dense forest. Descending into the crater almost 600 meters, you will enjoy a fantastic view of wildlife, including the big five game animals: lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros. You will then break around 1:00 pm for lunch (lunch boxes) that you will enjoy in the picnic area, where you will have a view of the beautiful animals and scenery features of Ngorongoro. After lunch, you will continue with a game drive around the Ngorongoro crater, exploring the animals and nature of Ngorongoro. In the evening, we will leave the great Ngorongoro conservation area heading to Mto Wa Mbu, where you will lodge at Fanaka for the night.
Day 4: MTO WA MBU - LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK - ARUSHA
Day Four, you will travel to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will enjoy the pristine wonderful pink flamingos that can be seen along the shores of Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara covers about two-thirds of the Park and is known to be home to over 400 bird species. You will also get to visit the hot water springs and see the famous tree-climbing lions. You will be driven around the National Park and return to Arusha to unwind at Tulia lodge later in the afternoon.
Day 5: ARUSHA - DEPARTING AIRPORT
Day Five is the last day of your 1 Ra Adventure Safari, where you will take in all the unbelievable experiences you had and relax as you prepare to return home. Depending on your flight time, you will either be taken to your departing airport or get a tour of Arusha and then taken to your departing airport.
